The sixth weekend of the ADAC TCR season has been run on the German Sachsenring track. Jussi Kuusiniemi, who was fighting for the whole season in series, set off again for the weekend to fight hard on good points.
On Saturday morning was qualifying. Kuusiniemi fought for a long time in the rankings of the top 12 that would justify access to the second part of the qualifying. Eventually, the finnish did not get a clean lap when always someone who was slow to ride was on the driving line in front. Kuusiniemi get 23th place in qualifying.
On Saturday afternoon was the first race of the weekend was launched, where the youngster started off on the 22ndwhen another driver got penalty. However, the race was short on Kuusiniemi, as in the third corner German Kai Jordan drove the Finnish rear of the car and this duo drifted on the sand. Both competitions ended really quick.
On Sunday, where Kuusiniemi again went out of 22. Grip position. This time the race continued beyond the third corner and the finnish managed to make some spectacular overtaking, which is already in the 14th position until the Austrian competitor pass him. He was finally 15 on the finish line.
